Our future plans for the EMDR Kit App!

We are excited to share the latest developments surrounding our EMDR Kit Wireless app! Thanks to valuable insights from research and user feedback, we are making significant improvements to the app’s visual design, functionality and usability. Here’s a glimpse of what’s coming! Please note: Some of the features described here are only compatible with the latest versions of our products.

Possible upcoming Features

We’ve heard your feedback and are excited to announce that we are working on some exciting features.

1. Always-Visible Start/Stop Button and Speed Settings: The Start/Stop button and speed settings will remain visible even when navigating within submenus, such as those for the Light Tube or Pulsators. This allows users to adjust speed or press Start/Stop without leaving the submenu.
2. Chaos Mode for Pulsators: This feature, already available for the most recent EMDR Light Tube, will bring a dynamic element to the Pulsators, offering new possibilities for therapy. Please note: This feature will only be available for users with the latest version of Pulsators (>2024).
3. Pulse Length Adjustment: Users will be able to set the duration of each pulse, adding another layer of customization. Please note: This feature will only be available for users with the latest version of Pulsators (>2024).
4. Background Mode: This feature will allow the app to continue stimulation even when minimized, enabling therapists to use other apps for note-taking during sessions.

Improving User Experience

Feedback from users has helped us fine-tune the app, ensuring it remains intuitive and effective for everyone:

1. Feature Accessibility: Some users noted that functionalities like the limiter and other settings were hard to find. We’ve improved their visibility, making these important settings easier to find.
2. Increased Understanding: We’re adding more clarity and context about the app’s features and connected devices—such as EMDR Pulsators/Tappers and the EMDR Light Tube—so users can maximize their potential.
3. Design Flexibility: The redesign incorporates additional flexibility, creating room for future improvements and features.

We hope to launch them in the course of next year. Please be aware that the new features might only be applicable to the latest version of our products.

Main screen

Our app will have several visual improvements in the main screen. Here is a comparison between the old (left) and new (right) app.

• Clearer Submenus: Submenus are more clearly clickable, visually differentiated from the background with rounded edges.
• New General Menu: The Connect menu has been replaced with a general menu where connections can be managed. This redesign also provides space for adding more features and options in the future.
• Relocated Limiter Settings: The set/time limiter has been moved next to the Start button, making it clearer that it’s clickable for changing settings.
• Updated Icons: Icons are redesigned to align more closely with the appearance of the current product.
• Adjusted Start/Stop Button: Although not visible in the screenshot, the time and number of sets will now appear within the Start/Stop button.

Sub menu’s

Here you can see a comparisson between the old (left) and new (right) submenu of the Light Tube.

We’re happy to share a bit of what we’re working on! While we’re aiming to bring all these ideas to life, thorough testing will help us determine what will be possible.
